| How it all
began |
| The concept of a Devon
flag was initially put forward during a discussion on BBC Devon's web-site.
The concept gathered momentum and was backed up by further discussion and
a web poll that led to a shortlist of designs all of which were judged for
suitability as a easily recognisable, strong symbol for Devon. With almost
half the total votes, the design judged the winner was designed by BBC Devon
contributor Ryan Sealey. It is his design that
you see before you. |

Payment

offers two methods of paying for your order.
A conventional
cheque payment (UK Sterling drawn on a UK bank)
Credit
Card payments via NOCHEX
  
NOCHEX is
an
internationally trusted credit card clearing facility. |
The
checkout process. | • When
you have selected your items for purchase, you simply press the checkout
button on your shopping cart.
• You shall be taken to a page where you
enter your
name and billing address (plus your shipping address if different from your billing
address). Just tick the "remember me" box to automatically populate
your information for return visits.

Please select a payment method at this point.
"Cheque Payment" will allow you to send a conventional cheque payment
to DevonFlag.co.uk.
"Credit Card (NOCHEX)" will allow you to make an online payment
there
and then via NOCHEX.
•
Pressing "checkout" once again will take you to a page where
you can confirm the total amount (postage and packing are added at this point).
The handling
charge covers packing materials
and the postage cost is based on actual worldwide weight based shipping rates
as quoted by www.royalmail.com.
To confirm, press "checkout" again.

The process varies a little from here in depending on how you elect to
pay.

• Once you've confirmed the total
amount, that's it! You'll receive an online order confirmation together
with an email confirmation. If you elected to pay by cheque, please send
payment within
7 days to the
address
specified
in the confirmation email. We'll ship your order on clearing of payment.

• Once you've confirmed
the total amount, you will be passed onto the secure
NOCHEX credit card clearing
pages (existing
account holders can simply login).
• Please work through the simple payment pages from top-to-bottom
and ensure that all of your information has been carried over correctly,
add your credit card details and check all boxes for accuracy, especially
your email address. Your name should be that as detailed on your card.
•
After your payment, you will be returned to the DevonFlag.co.uk website

- After using NOCHEX you'll simply be returned
to our home page and will receive a payment confirmation via NOCHEX.
REJECTED CARD?
• If
you suffered problems with the online credit card process, don't
panic! The probable cause would be that your information didn't exactly match
up with your bank details! Though the credit card process is secure and
safe, online
systems
are
sometimes
a little less forgiving than a human operator.
If
you
were
rejected
simply
check your information.
• Failing that,
We'll
still
have
your
order
in
our
database
so
if
you
wish
to
complete
via
a
cheque
payment instead,

| Terms & Conditions |
Delivery timescale – We will dispatch your order within 5 working days of receipt of payment using Royal Mail. If your order is urgent please email us with details. Most UK orders are received within 48 hrs. If you have not received your goods within 10 days please email us.
Stickers – Be aware that our stickers are designed to permanently adhere to surfaces. Damage to paintwork and other surfaces may occur if removal is attempted. We do not accept responsibility for any damage caused. Warranties on some goods may be affected by the use of stickers. If unsure please obtain advice before fixing.
Postage and packing are based on the weight of the order; the cost is calculated and displayed on the checkout page prior to completing your purchase.
In the event of items ordered by you being out of stock or no longer available we will notify you by email and give you the option to substitute your order for a different item or receive a full refund.
If you wish to cancel your order you must notify us by email and return the goods within 7 days of receipt at you own expense. Upon receipt of the undamaged and unused item we will issue refund through Nochex or by cheque within a maximum of 30 days.
